It's LOL's birthday party in hotel prakash..

DAD : hi somesh... kahaan ho.. kaifi shor aa raha hai .. u r inaudible !!

ME : hi papa ... i am in a birthday party !!

DAD : oh . so u guys n'joing a lot, no !

ME : yeah .. !!

DAD : whr r u ppl .. out of campus ?? in dehradun ?

ME : no papa ! v r celebrating in roorkee only.

DAD : Ok...!! Well I have a gud news for you. Guess What ?

ME : What ?

DAD : i have received an appreciation letter of your's, from the college !

ME : {wtf.. wat i did ??} .. ... really papa .. {i giggled}??

DAD : yeah !!

ME : wot does it says ?

DAD : i was very happy, u know, to see a letter from your college ........ before i opened it !! {sth foul} .. coz its the very first time i got a letter from your college / school !! i thought .. aha .. " i know he'll(somesh) make me proud some day" !! I opened it .... " letz see wot surprise it has in it" !!

ME :... ... {sth fishy ... sth off beam} Ok .. tell me na .. whats in it ??

DAD : It says .. mine son has attended all the classes n has 100% attendance in all subjects !! Splendid !!

ME : {betta aaj to tu gaya.... i think insti ne short attendance ka luv letter ghar bhej diya }

DAD : hullo ! u thr ..

ME : yeah ! m listening dad ...aaaammm ...

DAD : : what aaammm..??

ME :but it was a month ago .. now i hv fulfilled the minimum criteria of 75% attendance .. n now i hv surplus attendance in all subjects !!

DAD : surplus..?? m surprised !! .... n earlier ? what ws the count....at that EARLIERrrrr.... tym ?

ME : ohh.. it was just .. 74.9 in machine design and 68 in geology !

DAD : r u sure ??

ME : {with full confidence} yes ! certainly !!

DAD : but the notice was issued just 5 days before we received it ....

Standing in my balcony .. waiting for my PC to boot up !!
{dad called me back at 11pm}

DAD : i dunno why airtel's getting 30% increment in its total revenue in Q2, in this phase of global financial crises, albeit its providing such services to its customers !! Or there's some problem in ur handset ? ummm ... one possible reason of getting disconnected cud b ur year old SIM card , i think it hs gt many scratches on it !! ahem ahem .. u thr ?

DAD : So hw u duing ??

ME : pretty gud !!

DAD : chalo its very late !! i'll call u tomorrow
